About Triple C
What exactly is Triple C?
Triple C is a Cape Town-based event operations consultancy for international live-music producers. We help producers understand, plan and deliver projects in Cape Town through local insight, trusted relationships, supplier and venue guidance, and on-the-ground operational support. Think of us as the local knowledge sitting beside your production team.
+
Is Triple C a production company?
No. Cape Town already has excellent production companies, technical suppliers, venues and crews — and Triple C is not here to replace them. We work alongside your production team, helping you understand the local landscape, identify the right partners and connect the different parts of your Cape Town production.
+
What kind of events does Triple C work with?
Triple C focuses on live music and music-led experiences, including festivals, electronic music events, concerts, club events, touring productions, label showcases and selected music-led brand experiences. Triple C is not a film-production company.
+
Who is Triple C for?
Triple C is primarily for international producers, promoters, festival teams, touring teams and music-led organisations looking to create or expand projects in Cape Town and South Africa. If you already know how to produce exceptional events but need someone who understands how Cape Town works, that is where we come in.
+
When should we bring Triple C into a project?
As early as you need us. You can speak to Triple C while Cape Town is still an idea, during feasibility and scoping, once local planning has begun, or when your production requires on-the-ground support. You do not need to have everything figured out before contacting us.
+
Do we need to know exactly what support we need before contacting you?
No. That is what the first conversation is for. Tell us what you’re considering, where you are in the process and what you already have in place. We can then identify where local insight and support would add the most value.
+
What can Triple C actually help us with?
Depending on the project, Triple C can support early feasibility, Cape Town scoping, venue guidance, supplier and crew navigation, local production planning, operational considerations, coordination between international and local teams, and on-the-ground support. The scope is shaped around the project rather than forcing every client into the same package.
+
Can Triple C work alongside our existing production team?
Yes — that is exactly how Triple C is designed to work. Your existing producers, technical teams and creative partners retain their roles. Triple C adds the Cape Town context, relationships and local operational understanding your team may not yet have.
+
Can you help us find venues, suppliers and local crew?
Yes. But our role goes further than sending you a list of contacts. We help identify which venues, suppliers, crew and specialist partners are appropriate for the specific needs, scale and character of your production. We provide context, not just contacts.
+
Can Triple C help with permits, safety and local event requirements?
Triple C can help you understand the relevant local processes, considerations and specialist requirements, and help coordinate with the appropriate professionals where necessary. We do not replace municipal authorities, licensed safety professionals, legal advisers or other regulated specialists.
+
Can Triple C support the production on the ground?
Yes. Where required, Triple C can remain involved during planning, pre-production, build, event delivery and wrap to provide local coordination and operational support. The level of involvement depends on what your project actually needs.
+
Why do we need local support if we already know how to produce events?
Because your production expertise does not disappear when you enter a new city — but your local context changes. Every city has its own relationships, venues, suppliers, systems and ways of working. Triple C gives your team that local perspective so you can make informed decisions while keeping your own production identity and standards intact.
+
Is Cape Town difficult to produce in?
We don’t see Cape Town as a difficult place to produce. We see it as a city with its own rhythm. It has an established creative community, experienced event professionals, distinctive venues and enormous potential for live experiences. Like any international destination, understanding the local context simply helps you make the most of what is available.
+
Do you only work with European producers?
No. Triple C grew from the connection between European event production and Cape Town, but we work with international producers more broadly. What matters is that your project would benefit from trusted Cape Town knowledge and local operational support.
